Ocean Grand Hotel

Everything was great.

Breakfast had limited options but was fresh and healthy. The staff was very helpful. The location was excellent with amazing views of the ocean. Lot of food options were within the walking distance.

Hotel building is a bit old and the bathrooms were not upgraded and were very basic. There were no shower curtains as a result the bathroom floor used to get very wet after the shower.

Excellent location if you want the proximity to Hamdeok Beach--I had a room with balcony overlooking the beach, so I could see the tidal changes and people shooting off fireworks during New Year's Eve. it's walking distance to many restaurants and souvenir shops, too. Melts, one of two on-site restaurants and the only one open, had a great western menu for brunch. I appreciated having heated floors.

Every time housekeeping came, they only provided hand towels, not full-sized bath towels. The room had limited number of places to plug and charge electronics (only one wall with extension cord). The tub/shower did not have a curtain, so water sprayed on the floor :-(

The location is convenient, as it is in the city center and offers free parking (limited slots). However, basic essential items are not provided. Even the toilet slippers are shared. Luckily, we brought our own indoor slippers. In my opinion, it does not feel like a hotel. On the positive side, the check-out time is flexible.Bonus: There is a water dispenser available in the lobby.

The location was excellent, right on the beachfront with a perfect view. Sunrise and sunset are worth watching from the balcony. Convenience stores right next to the hotel and a few restaurants too. For us, the balcony with worth the extra cost, after all, its a beach location.

The room is a little old, certainly needs a refresh, but it was clean and has everything you need.

-Breakfast: it was aimed at locals and there were very little meals for foreigners (the orange and the orange juice were really good);-Cleaners come early in the morning and if you are sleeping and leave the room later, they do not come a second time.

Location was perfect. The lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Room was bigger than expected as well.

The beds were a little harder than I like. Honestly didn't matter too much still slept really good

The location is amazing my room was in front of the beach i woke up everyday with an amazing view; everything is near, room was ok, they change me the towels everyday and they put me extra water bottles. People not speak so much English but is ok they are kind and try to help always!

The can be more modern, OK, but seriously the view not let you focus in other things.

It’s too cold inside the room. But the staff provided a portable heater to us.

As with lots of SK hotels the heating is coming up automatically from the floor which I personally find annoying cause the rooms get too hot, cant seem to turn it off.

Everything felt extremely safe for a solo female traveler. Staff was nice and helpful. The view was stunning and the beach was extremely close. Lots of of restaurants nearby.

Perfect location - beach is right across the street. View of beach is fantastic. Strict with check-in time, but we left our bags downstairs and went to the beach, and came back to check in at 3pm.

View was nice, had a nice little balcony.

Can only book in after 3 in the afternoon. So if your plane arrives at 7 in the morning like mine did it's not that great to drag your luggage around and wait for 8 hours.

The views are amazing! It was beach front property so the view from balcony is exceptional!
